Bridget Doyle is a licensed clinical social worker with The Blossom Method, a therapy practice in the heart of Chicago offering support, encouragement and hope to women and couples facing challenges as they start or grow their families. Bridget received both her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and her master’s degree in Social Work from DePaul University. Her specific area of focus is working with expectant parents in planning for their baby/babies, adjustment to parenthood, women with high-risk pregnancies, and working with families with premature babies and other complex medical diagnoses. Bridget pulls from her background in Early Childhood Education when working with families. Bridget has also completed the Postpartum Support International Certificate Training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Previously, Bridget has been on staff at many local hospitals as a licensed social worker: University of Chicago, Glenbrook Hospital, Evanston Hospital and Lutheran General. In addition to The Blossom Method, Bridget currently works as a licensed clinical social worker in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Prentice Women’s Hospital. Bridget is a member of the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers, National Association of Social Workers, and is a board member of the Chicago District Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care.
