Beth M. Boghossian of BMB Well Co. is a Trial Lawyer and Executive Coach.
After years in the courtroom, Beth sought balance for herself and other professionals, becoming a Certified Professional Co- Active® Coach (CPCC), trained by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the largest and oldest coach training school in the world and first to receive accreditation by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
As a lawyer, Beth advocates for clients in civil litigation. Beth was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1997. After starting in family and child law, she moved to insurance law, trying cases to verdict, then litigating multi-million dollar insurance matters in two of Chicago’s large law firms. She has practiced in federal, state and appellate courts, all Cook County courts and in the collar counties of DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, McHenry, Will, and has been admitted pro hac vice in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Florida. Beth has litigated cases involving subrogation, workers compensation, personal injury, mold damage, transportation, employment, intellectual property and privacy matters. In addition to litigation, Beth has prepared estate plans to protect her clients’ individual, family, and business wishes and interests and drafted asset and stock purchase agreements, master service and independent contractor agreements, commercial leases, and other business contracts to assist business clients in achieving and protecting their growth goals, that they may protect their entities and provide high-end service to the clients in their industries. Beth currently represents clients in contested and non-contested litigation in probate, estate and trust administration. Beth historically reaches legal resolution with a balance of advocacy, clarity, civility and compassion.
In addition to representing others in their legal matters, Beth places high value around self-advocacy and well-being. As a Co-Active® Coach, Beth works with professionals 1:1, as well as groups via Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars, workshops, speaking engagements and destination wellness retreats.
Beth coaches professionals 1:1 toward careers and lives of mindful awareness, abundant fulfillment and effortless transformation. She spots limiting messages and self-sabotage, replacing them with one’s truth – from one’s skills and gifts, to one’s values and heart’s desire. Beth creates and presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for lawyers on Wellness, Mindfulness and Meditation, to support professionals around the need for work-life balance and to experience - in the moment - what it means to be mindful; further teaching skills proven to promote focus, efficiency and productivity at work and beyond. Beth serves as a mentor to law students and new attorneys through the Illinois Supreme Court’s Commission on Professionalism and mentors business leaders through other professional organizations in the US and London. Beth speaks at various legal and wellness events and leads retreats among nature’s beauty in the US and Mexico.
Beth’s tool-box for balance incudes meditation, yoga, acupuncture, qi gong, working 1:1 with multiple coaches, giving voice to people and causes, appreciating nature and living things and the diversity of the world at large, with prayer, affirmations and intentions. Beth’s joys include teaching, growing with and being a student of and advocate for her 3 children.
