Dr. Ashley Whittington-Barnish is an assistant professor and department chair of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) Applied Behavior Analysis department in Chicago. Prior to teaching at TCSPP, she taught courses at Illinois Wesleyan University and Bradley University. Dr. Whittington-Barnish is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified school psychologist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral level (BCBA-D). She has worked in school, clinic, and in-home settings with children of all ages. Dr. Whittington-Barnish graduated from Illinois State University’s School Psychology program. She completed her doctoral internship at Livingston County Special Services Unit and her post-doc at Trinity Services Autism and Family Resource Center. She specializes in working with children with autism and their families and has worked with hundreds of individuals on the spectrum. In her current role, she works to provide quality education and training opportunities to graduate students who go on to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s).
